Dragon and Thief by Timothy Zahn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved this book! I saw it on the library sale shelf and after reading the back, snatched it right up and I was not disappointed! It grabbed me right from the start and I sat here and stayed up all night to finish it. Tempted to skip sleep entirely so I can start on volume two lol
Draycos' character and how he needs Jack to survive and the way the symbiosis works between the two, was fascinating. I loved the plot, barely left me a minute to catch my breath, but the intrigue didn't go overboard, it was just enough to keep me needing to know what happens next, without being overwhelming.
Looking forward to book 2! (and 3, 4, 5, and 6 LOL)

Dogla+Magla by Tarako Kotobuki
This was really badly written, the plot made very little sense and it was almost painful to read and try and piece together what was supposed to be going on. Surprisingly though, I did quite like the ending, so far as I could understand what had happened. I don't recommend it, as their are quite a few other mangas out there that are so much better.

Two Keys by Chloe Chan, Aliena Shoemaker
Just finished reading the first 18 chapters of this and it is so good! Mysterious detective, charming politician, magic and occult, I was dying to read it as soon as my friend told me about it! And I'm so glad I did! 8D

This was pretty good. It was really light-hearted and I was amused enough that I was smiling through reading it. Short, but sweet as they say lol I'll be adding it to my favorites for m/m fiction and will definitely be rereading it when I need a quick pick me up.

Yokaiden by Nina Matsumoto
Yokaiden 2 by Nina Matsumoto
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I was so thoroughly surprised when I read this manga, I was pretty iffy about it, was on the fence about the art and while supernatural is one of my favorite genres, I just wasn't too excited about the plot from the synopsis on the back cover, but to my delight, I found myself totally loving it. It's hysterical. The dialouge is awesome and had me in stitches. The art grew on me as did the characters, Hamachi charmed me with his quirky ways. I got thoroughly into it and only after I had finished the second volume did I discover, to my horror, that it's unfinished. What a let-down. One of the thing's I hate most about series and unfortunately almost makes me wish I hadn't read it to begin with. BUT! /this/ series is too good to miss out on, so even if the third volume never makes an appearance, I still recommend it. :)

Baby Pop by Yayoi Ogawa
Baby Pop Vol. 2 by Yayoi Ogawa
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I love this mangaka and I really liked Baby Pop. Nagisa's character appealed to me very much. She was strong-willed, but was still shown to be vulnerable at times, and would accept comfort at those times, she seemed very human to me, and I liked that, I was able to relate to her better, as compared to a lot of manga characters, which are too extreme in their personalities. I will admit to being totally in love with Ryu. I find it totally sweet how he dotes on Nagisa and calls her "my Baby". I like how real his character felt to me too, especially his grief. I loved reading every chapter of this manga and I regret that it ended after two volumes. I felt like it was too abrupt, and I'm not sure if it was meant to end there, or if the manga was cancelled and that's why. Definitely one I'll end up rereading many times though I'm sure.

You & Me, Etc. by: Kyugo
You and Me, Etc. by Kyuugou
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really liked this collection a lot, especially the stories of Keita and Iku, and Kuwahara and Akira. I regret that they were one-shots, because I would have liked to read more about their relationships and also because they seemed to end a bit abruptly. I loved the art and the characters, and I'm looking forward to reading more works from this author.
