My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really liked this collection a lot, especially the stories of Keita and Iku, and Kuwahara and Akira. I regret that they were one-shots, because I would have liked to read more about their relationships and also because they seemed to end a bit abruptly. I loved the art and the characters, and I'm looking forward to reading more works from this author.

Not Simple by Natsume Ono

I was actually kind of surprised how well I liked it. I hadn't picked it up to read (despite hearing many good things about it) because of the art style. For me with manga, I have to like the art just as much, if not more, than the story. This grew on me and by the time I got to the last page, I didn't want it to be over. Hopefully I'll be able to acquire my own copy eventually, definitely one I'll want for my collection!

I was happily surprised by this book. It was off-beat and quite humorous. I really enjoyed the mix of technology and mythology. I think a couple of the mythological characters needed more explanation, maybe needs a small glossary of some sort for those of us too lazy to google things really quickly whilst we're reading. (<-- like me.) I loved the chapter "Mainly Involves Robots" XD I really liked both Reynardine's character and Coyote's. How they were drawn, especially Coyote. I've always been fond of the Trickster's in mythological tales. The characters overall in this book are great, so interesting each in their own way. The plot is catchy. Definitely a must-read in my opinion! :D
